📋 Excel Format Instructions

Please format your Excel sheet with the following columns:

  • Name: Full name of the family member
  • Birth Date: Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD or MM/DD/YYYY)
  • Death Date: Date of death (optional, leave blank if alive)
  • Birth Place: Place of birth
  • Death Place: Place of death (optional)
  • Parent: Name of one parent (used to build relationships)
  • Generation: Generation number (1 for oldest, 2 for children, etc.)

💡 Tip: The tree will be arranged horizontally with the oldest generation on the left.
